One thing that those rules changes will do is to STOP some golfers from "grounding" the club when they address the ball so as to prevent getting a penality should the wind move the ball on the greens. This has come up a few times on tour last year. <br /><br />I agree with you completely on the Late for a tee time rule change. I felt what happened to Jim Furyk during a Pro Am round to be way overboard. It happened during the Pro Am round which didn't even count for score in the tourniment, and he was DQ'ed for the whole event. Kind of stupid in my opinion. With the new rules change it wouldn't be a big deal, which I agree with.
