Are you ready for the Maxfli Challenge?

Maxfli

Maxfli is turning up the heat in the golf ball wars and putting the industry leader in the hot seat. The brand today announced the launch of The Maxfli Challenge, a new program that puts ball performance testing in the hands of the consumer. Maxfli's new promotion offers golfers a money-back guarantee if they don't think the Maxfli Revolution and Revolution Solid perform better overall than the Titleist Pro V1.

Taking The Maxfli Challenge is simple: golfers can purchase a dozen Maxfli Revolution or Revolution Solid balls, play them and compare their performance to that of the Titleist Pro V1. Maxfli is confident that both balls will outperform Titleist's latest offering. If a golfer is not completely satisfied that the Maxfli Revolution and/or the Revolution Solid perform better than the Titleist Pro V1, they can send back (at least 6 of) the remaining Maxfli Revolution or Revolution Solid balls for a full refund.

"Maxfli is putting its money where its mouth is," said Edward Hughes, Vice President of Marketing for Dunlop Slazenger Group Americas. "If you look through the hype, all Titleist has done with the Pro V1 is catch up to the performance of the Revolution. The Maxfli Revolution, with its solid center, delivers solid core distance with great feel to the PGA Tour and better amateurs. We are confident that we have the best golf ball products on the market, and with this new promotion, we are encouraging golfers to step up and take the challenge."

The Maxfli Challenge is believed to be unprecedented in the golf industry. Brands typically offer consumers discounts and special promotions to increase sales, but, to our knowledge, never has a consumer challenge between golf balls been laid out.

Maxfli's aggressive new promotion is already receiving support from PGA Tour professionals such as Fred Couples and Robert Allenby. "The Maxfli Challenge is only going to prove to golfers what I've believed for years…that Maxfli makes the best balls on the market," said Fred Couples. "There has been a lot of talk this year about the so-called ball wars. I've been playing the Maxfli Revolution since it came onto the market, and I believe it's the best ball out there. When other golfers take The Maxfli Challenge, I think they will come to the same conclusion."

"No other ball on Tour gives me the combination of distance and feel that I get with the Maxfli Revolution," said Robert Allenby. "It has given me the confidence I need in tough situations and helped me win three tournaments in my first two seasons on the PGA Tour. The Maxfli Revolution is, quite simply, the best ball I've ever played."

The Maxfli Challenge will be driven through in-store, point-of-sale displays in all Maxfli distribution outlets where Maxfli Revolution and Revolution Solid are sold and in print advertising. The Maxfli Challenge is scheduled to appear in stores and in advertising the second week in June.

"Better golfers everywhere will be able to judge the products themselves," said Hughes. "We don't believe that the golfing public will find a ball that beats the Maxfli Revolution or the Revolution Solid."

The Maxfli Revolution features improvements to the ball's core and other components along with advancements in manufacturing techniques, creating a better performing, more consistent golf ball, allowing the Revolution to fly longer. The result is an increase in distance of approximately five yards from the flight distance of the original ball.

The Maxfli Revolution Solid features a micro-bond layer between its oversized, solid center and soft, urethane outer cover. As a result, the Revolution Solid offers players a great combination of distance and control.
