CHAMP spikes have won the last four events on the PGA Tour - MARLBOROUGH, MA — At the Western Open last weekend, both the winner and the runner-up wore CHAMP 6mm Cer-Mec™ spikes. This marked the fourth straight victory for CHAMP spikes (two wins with CHAMP Stinger™ spikes and two with CHAMP 6mm Cer-Mec spikes) and the 15th overall win on the PGA Tour in 2004.

Overall at the Western Open, according to the Darrell Survey, 20 golfers wore CHAMP soft golf spikes, with 13 wearing CHAMP Stinger spikes and seven wearing CHAMP ScorpionSpikes. In addition, according to CHAMP’s PGA Tour representative, 44 golfers wore CHAMP 6mm Cer-Mec spikes, bringing CHAMP’s total to 64 spikes or 41 percent of the field.

In 2004, on the PGA and LPGA Tours combined, CHAMP has posted 21 wins. 2003, CHAMP golf spikes visited the winner’s circle 49 times on the PGA, LPGA and Nationwide tours. CHAMP posted 21 victories on the PGA Tour, 19 on the LPGA Tour and nine on the Nationwide Tour. And of those 49 total wins, 28 were with CHAMP soft golf spikes, with CHAMP ScorpionSpikes™ leading the way with 26 of those victories.
