August 15, 2004 - Tinley Park, Illinois - Bettinardi Golf captured their second Major victory Sunday with the 2004 PGA Championship held at Whistling Straits in Kohler Wisconsin. The Winner who won the Buick Open just 2 weeks earlier, continued his journey toward player of the year honors with a dramatic playoff victory Sunday. "Switching from a belly putter and winning two in a row, I never thought at any stage that I was going to come back and putt so well so quickly and win golf tournaments. If I putted like this in the British Open and the US Open I could have won. The way I am putting now, I am having so much fun that I can't wait to get to the green" stated the winner. The winner has used a prototype BHB5-CC to win his last 2 events.

"Bettinardi Golf is proud to have had a part in this great championship" said Bob Bettinardi president of Bettinardi Golf. " This tournament was truly a test of every aspect of golf and we are excited that we contributed to the victory. Bettinardi Golf's commitment to producing the highest quality putter available grew stronger with this Major Victory" said Bettinardi. Bettinardi Golf is the exclusive designer and manufacturer of the Ben Hogan by Bettinardi line of putters available nationwide.
