Sonartec Golf's Nick Price Elected to Hall of Fame Press Release
Sonartec Golf's Nick Price was elected to the World Golf Hall of Fame Tuesday. Price earned 76% of the PGA Tour ballot and will become the 99th player inducted into the prestigious World Golf Hall of Fame on Oct. 20. Price became an advisor and staff professional for Sonartec Golf in January 2001 and won for the first time in 4 years at the 2002 Colonial using a Sonartec three wood. His involvement with Sonartec Golf has been a catalyst for the startup manufacturer of drivers and fairway woods.
"We are very proud of Nick," said Sonartec Golf's President Toru Kamatari. " He is an exceptional person to have representing our company and we feel very privileged to be a part of his hall of fame career."
Sonartec Golf has established itself as an industry leader in the development of innovative golf equipment. The unique Driving Cavity TM technology, a design technique used to remove mass from the sole and back of the club head, provides golfers of all levels with added distance and forgiveness. The Driving Cavity redistributes weight around the perimeter of the club head and pulls the Center of Gravity (CG) deep within the club head for forgiveness on miss-hits. The Driving Cavity also raises the CG in the club head, yielding a penetrating ball trajectory with no balloon effect into the wind.
