Top-Flite Sponsors Young NASCAR Sensation Jamie McMurray; Manufacturer of The Longest Balls Goes Where No Other Golf Company Has Gone With TOP-FLITE Logo on No. 64 Car

Press Release

Talk about ball speed! In an unprecedented combination, the manufacturer of The Longest Balls(R) will tee up with America's fastest-growing sport as The Top-Flite(R) Golf Company announced today it will serve as the primary sponsor of RWI Racing's No. 64 Dodge for NASCAR NEXTEL Cup driver Jamie McMurray in the NASCAR Busch Series in 2005. The new black, red and white TOP-FLITE car was unveiled today at Phoenix International Raceway. McMurray will officially fire up the TOP-FLITE Dodge at California Speedway on February 26, 2005.

"The growth and edge-of-your-seat excitement of NASCAR, and the impressive way Jamie McMurray has made his mark on the circuit, fit right in with the bold, reinvigorated face of the TOP-FLITE brand," said Bob Penicka, President and COO of The Top-Flite Golf Company. "We are proud to have Jamie as part of our crew at Top-Flite. Like NASCAR, Top-Flite has a great American sporting tradition and a bright international future, and we think Jamie and his No. 64 Dodge are an ideal vehicle to help carry that forward."

McMurray, a 28-year-old native of Joplin, Mo. and resident of Statesville, N.C., found his groove at an early age when he began racing go-karts in the U.S. and abroad between the ages of 8-17, winning four U.S. Go-Kart titles and the World Go-Karting Championship in 1991. He logged miles on NASCAR's Craftsman Truck Series before finding his way to the Busch Series. McMurray made a name for himself on the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series back in October 2002 when he set a new NASCAR modern-era record by becoming the quickest driver to win a Cup race when he took the checkers at the UAW-GM Quality 500 at Lowe's Motor Speedway in Charlotte, N.C. in only his second Cup start. McMurray was also named the 2003 NASCAR Raybestos Cup Rookie of the Year in his first full season of NEXTEL Cup racing.

In 2003, McMurray posted two wins, six top-five and nine top-10 finishes in 19 Busch Series starts. McMurray has run a limited NASCAR Busch Series schedule in 2004 with RWI Racing, and posted his fourth consecutive Busch Series victory at North Carolina Speedway back in the spring.

McMurray has been a driver of consistency on the 2004 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series circuit, posting eight top-five and 21 top-10 finishes through 33 races. He currently sits 11th in NEXTEL Cup points.

Under his new sponsorship agreement, McMurray will race for RWI Racing LLC, the NASCAR team owned by racing legend Rusty Wallace -- an avid golfer who plays Callaway Golf (NYSE:ELY) equipment and represents Callaway Golf(R) branded and Odyssey(R) licensed products.

"I'm really excited about getting this opportunity to be associated with a company like TOP-FLITE," McMurray said. "Rusty has given us great equipment to be successful and win races, and it's pretty cool to get to drive for him. I use to work at a driving range back when I was a teenager, so it's pretty neat to have TOP-FLITE come on board as a sponsor. I think this makes a huge statement as to how far NASCAR has come. To have a highly visible brand in the golf industry join forces with a NASCAR team I think shows how strong NASCAR is in the sports world. It's cool to get to be the one to wheel this car and help TOP-FLITE make a name for themselves with the NASCAR fans."

"This is an exciting day for RWI Racing," said Rusty Wallace, team owner. "It's no secret that I'm an avid golfer, so to have a company like TOP-FLITE come on board as a sponsor is very exciting for me. I'm looking forward to making TOP-FLITE a household name with NASCAR fans as their golf ball of choice and showing TOP-FLITE the power of motorsports marketing to help re-launch a brand."

The Top-Flite Golf Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Callaway Golf Company and is the world's largest golf ball manufacturer. It is the first US manufacturer of golf balls, dimpled golf balls, two-piece golf balls, multi-layer golf balls, and American-made golf clubs. Under The Top-Flite Golf Company umbrella are the TOP-FLITE(R) and BEN HOGAN(R) brands.
