Nickent 3DX Sweeps Tour Championship with Three Top 5's, #1 Hybrid Ranking

Three players using Nickent’s 3DX Ironwood hybrid finished in the Top 5 at the Nationwide Tour Championship last week. The 3DX Ironwood clearly stood above the other hybrids Sunday, finishing 1st, 2nd 3rd and 4th out of all hybrids in play. Nickent had more hybrids in play than every manufacturer combined at the Tour Championship, dominating the field with 53% of the hybrids in play.

Four players using the 3DX Ironwood finished in the Top 20 on the Nationwide Tour money list and will be moving up to the PGA next year, including the #3 and #4 ranking players on the final money list. All of the players using the Nickent hybrid were praising the performance benefits of the club.

“I put the Nickent hybrid 18.5° in play at the Nationwide Tour Championship, where it helped me finish tied for 3rd,” said Nationwide Tour player Jason Caron. “The 18° is a 2 iron for me and it has a great trajectory off the tee and it rips through the wind off the deck. This club is awesome.”

The 3DX was introduced to the Nationwide Tour towards the tail end of the season and took over the #1 hybrid ranking after six events. A total of 53 players put the 3DX into play, dethroning the previous #1 ranking hybrid for the first time on any U.S. professional tour.

The 3DX earned 16 Top 10’s on the PGA Tours in 11 weeks, including two second place finishes on the PGA Tour and the three Top 5 finishes at the Tour Championship.
