Two New Videos Give Toddlers Fun Introduction to Football and Golf

Press Release

NEW YORK, Nov. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Judging by the spike in childhood obesity rates, it's never too early to get children interested in sports and fitness. With that in mind, Tiny Tot Sports Inc. has released its fourth and fifth children's videos, "Baby Football" and "Baby Golf," which give toddlers their first exposure to the sports and teach them basics. "Getting children up, active and in the game is our number one goal," says Jack Daddona, Jr., President of Sales and Marketing at Tiny Tot Sports, http://www.TinyTotSports.com.

"Baby Football" and "Baby Golf" are 30-minute videos that introduce toddlers to the sports by using football and golf characters, as well as images of colorful equipment and the Tiny Tot Sports Team of 30 young children. The videos were created and co-produced by Daddona and award-winning television producer Alan LaGarde ("Trading Spaces," "House Wars" and "A Wedding Story").

In "Baby Football," children will laugh along with Petey Pigskin and Herbert Helmut while they enjoy watching the Tiny Tot Sports team of children learn how to punt, pass, and kick - sometimes successfully and sometimes not so successfully.

A Scottish-speaking character named Gilbert Golfrey narrates "Baby Golf." Danny Dimples, Pammy Putter and the entire Tiny Tot Sports team of children join Gilbert to learn how to drive a golf ball (and a mini golf cart), chip a ball onto the green, and finish the hole by putting. "Baby Golf" also reinforces the importance of social skills and etiquette needed on the golf course.

Tiny Tot Sports' videos were recently honored by The Dove Foundation Seal of Approval, named Best Vacation Toy by Dr. Toy, and given the Preferred Choice Award in Creative Child Magazine's Creative Toy Awards 2004. The videos have also received positive reviews nationwide from more than 400 media outlets, including The Fox News Channel, the Boston Herald, the Pittsburgh Post Gazette and the San Diego Press Enterprise.

In July of 2004, the company partnered with Simply Back to Basics to form Tiny Tot Sports Publications and quickly began developing children's books. The publishing division released the first series of sports-themed children's books in the Fall of 2004. Written from a child's point of view in a fun rhyming pattern, the books illustrate the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship while teaching the basic rules, terms and concepts of each sport.

"Baby Football," "Baby Golf," "Baby Basketball," "Baby Soccer," and "Baby Baseball" videos and all of the Tiny Tot books are available at http://www.TinyTotSports.com or by calling 888-299-2880.
