Have you ever searched the internet for information on a golf course? Frequently the results leave a lot to be desired. A single line consisting of name, location and telephone number is par on the majority of golf course related websites. What happened to the idea that the internet was the information super highway?

Tee Time Golf Guide (www.teetimegolfguide.com), a new online resource for golfers, goes a long way toward filling the void. “The decision to publish Tee Time Golf Guide was related to my experience in searching for solid, current information about golf courses. I really was less interested in where the course was located or the phone number than what the course was actually like,” explained editor Alan Curtis. “As a golfer I love reading a factual description and seeing photos of the layout. It whets my appetite to get out and play a particular course,” he added.

Tee Time Golf Guide reads more like a printed magazine than a website, and features articles and photos that provide golfers with a preview of the golfing experience at scores of fine courses throughout Maryland, Pennsylvania and Virginia. At the end of each article the location, contact info, dress requirements, and pertinent information are provided. Golfers enjoy the option of a printer friendly page to take with them on their trek to the course, or a tool to forward an email link to their golf buddies.
