Cassoni Golf Introduces Revolutionary Detachable Pull Cart

Press Release

Posted 2005-01-13

Portland, OR January 6, 2005 — This year’s most intriguing innovation in golf carts isn’t even a golf cart—it’s the Cassoni Golf patented Detachable Pull Cart. This deceptively simple device marries the pull cart with the motorized golf cart. The Detachable Pull Cart enables courses to differentiate themselves. Using the Cassoni Golf System—the Detachable Pull Cart and the accompanying golf cart mounting system—courses can speed play and maximize the number of rounds per day. Result: terrific potential for increased revenue.

The Cassoni Golf Detachable Pull Cart lifting mechanism retrofits any of the major motorized cart brands. The Pull Cart then easily, and quickly, lifts and locks on and off the golf carts. By combining the technology and convenience of riding carts and pull carts, Cassoni Golf improves the game. It lets any golfer keep a full bag of clubs at his side—even when his or her riding cart is restricted to the cart path. No longer will golfers need to “guess and grab” several clubs as they head to the other side of the fairway. Speed of play increases; poor club selection decreases. Long walks back to the cart to switch clubs are eliminated, as is the need to lay unused clubs in wet grass.

See a prototype of the Cassoni Detachable Pull Cart at the 2005 PGA Merchandising Show in Orlando, Florida, January 27-30. Play with it at Cassoni Booth #7546, or watch it generate excitement in the New Product Review Section.

Cassoni Golf LLC is a partnership started in 2003 by Robert Cassoni, Louis Butenschoen and William Gehris. Inventor Robert Cassoni is the Chief Technical Officer and will continue to guide the business and design future generations. And William Gehris is the company’s General Counsel. He obtained the intellectual property for the device, and will continue to advise the company on legal matters.
