TaylorMade Golf's r7 quad driver, currently the No. 1 driver on the PGA Tour, continues to prove itself both on the course with two more wins last week, and off the course by earning a variety of prestigious accolades that further validate its place as one of the most revolutionary golf clubs ever created. Tributes to the r7 quad include:

Golf Digest: Hot List Editor's Choice (Feb 2005)
The r7 quad topped Golf Digest's annual Hot List "Editors' Choice" awards for 2004, earning a 100.0 rating. According to Golf Digest, "...this is the driver everyone wants to talk about, and not just because it was used by the winner of a pro event 26 times in 2004. Others have hopped on this weight movement idea, but nothing has captured our attention and satisfaction the way r7 has." (TaylorMade's r5 dual ranked 2nd with a rating of 98.8.)

GolfWeb.com/PGATOUR.com: Gold Tee Award (Nov 2004)
GolfWeb.com, a popular website partnered with PGATOUR.com, honored the r7 quad with its annual Gold Tee Award, given to the best overall introduction of the year. "Our GolfWeb panelists were virtually unanimous in citing this new club for its unique technology, revolutionary design, high level of performance and trendsetting characteristics." Said one GolfWeb.com reviewer, "This driver has changed my game. I hit the ball longer, farther and - when I set the [TLC cartridges] right and have the correct tempo - with a much more controlled draw than I ever have."

Men's Health Tech Guide: 2005 selection (Dec 2004)
Men's Health magazine selected the r7 quad as one of "100 new products that will improve your life...," and referred to the driver as "the most game-improving piece of legal technology since the metal driver."

Fortune Magazine: Best Products of the Year 2004 (Dec 13, 2004)

Business Week: Best Products of 2004 (Dec 13, 2004)

Popular Science: Best of What's New 2004 (Dec 2004)

Golf Tips Magazine: 2004 GT Tech Award / GT Innovation of the Year (Nov/Dec 2004)
In the third annual Golf Tips GT Tech Awards, the r7 quad's TLC Port Design was honored as a GT Innovation of the Year. Noted Golf Tips, "Technological innovation is the key to developing new golf products, particularly today when players demand a lot more from a premium-priced model than simple cosmetic changes. For this reason, the r7 quad driver has earned the GT Innovation of the Year Award for 2004."

ING (International Network of Golf): 2004 Product Ingenuity, Market Leaders Award (Jan 29, 2005)

Pro Golf International: The No. 1 golf franchise network in the world with 123 franchises around the globe chose the r7 quad as its 2004 Product of the Year. (Sep 30, 2004)

No. 1 Driver Model on the PGA Tour in 2004; No. 1 Driver in 2005
The r7 quad was the No. 1 driver model on the PGA Tour in 2004, and was used to win more PGA Tour events - 14 - than any other driver model.1 So far in 2005, the r7 quad is not only the No. 1 driver model on the PGA Tour, it's the No. 1 driver outright.2 Meaning that more r7 quad drivers have been put into play, week after week, than any other brand of driver.
