Jay Haas parred the first playoff hole to defeat fellow player Tom Kite and successfully defend his Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf title. Both players finished regulation at 9-under 207. Haas tapped in from two feet for par for his eighth career Champions Tour title and his second win this year. Haas, who held the overnight lead, closed with a final round 2-under 70.
