Exotics EX-3 Irons - The longest just got longer

The new Exotics EX-3 irons ($899.99/Graphite Design X-Quad graphite shaft; $799.99/Nippon NS Pro 950GH steel shaft) are the fruit of engineering know-how in turning advanced technology into our finest-ever performing golf clubs. Featuring the very first patented inner-cup face design, these irons produce an astonishing USGA-maximum .83 rebound rate at impact. That means the ball springs off the clubface to give you 10 extra yards per iron. This superb performance is the result of the forged 6A4V titanium cup face being encased in a hollow, stainless steel body and complemented with a Thermal Plastic Elastomer (TPE) vibration-dampening insert. The lightweight cupped face allows more weight to be shifted to the iron's sole, yielding a super-high moment of inertia (the club's ability to resist twisting, i.e. forgiveness) and a lower center of gravity to get shots airborne quickly. The result is incredible forgiveness and pin point control. The clubface is only 2.2mm thick, compared to many of today's irons that measure 2.7mm - this helps produce better feeling, longer flying shots. Proof positive of the Ex-3 performance, golfing magazine gave it the 2007 "Players Choice" Award for "Best Distance" in the Player's Iron Category as tested by the readers of Golfing Magazine.
