TaylorMade Golf Unveils 2009 Golf Bag Collection

TaylorMade Golf Press Release

Posted 2008-11-06

CARLSBAD, Calif. (November 6, 2008) - TaylorMade Golf Company, makers of the No. 1 Driver in Golf, unveiled its 2009 golf bag offerings – a collection of seven innovative bags that feature a remarkable boost in design and functionality. Leading the charge in innovation is the TaylorMade® San Marino Cart Bag and the Monza® Featherweight Stand Bag. Weighing less than five pounds, the new San Marino Cart Bag features Internal Crushproof Construction, a new technology that maintains the bag’s original shape even under the most extreme duress.

As stated by its name, the Monza Featherweight Stand Bag is one of the lightest bags of its kind in the industry. Designers were able to remove more than a pound, yet increase the storage capacity in certain pockets by more than 25% to provide the golfer with a bag that in rich is storage, yet lighter than the previous Monza model created by TaylorMade.

Rounding out the collection of bags are four new and improved bags: the Maranello, Diablo ST, Corza and the Burner® 09. All of these exciting new bags boast a new reinforced strapping system, making it virtually impossible for the strap or strap connection to break.

Aside from their lightweight characteristics, all of the stand bags were designed with an anatomically correct, ultra dense comfort foam strap system and back panel, proving even more comfortable for the golfer.

Also new this year on all of the bag models are conveniently placed pockets, which were strategically placed lower than on previous bags to ensure that golfers can access all of the pockets once the bag is strapped into the golf cart.
