AccuFLEX Golf (www.accuflexgolf.com) is sponsoring the International Long Drive Pro Tour's "Extreme Challenge" which will be contested during a two day double elimination format on July 12th and 13th. The International Long Drive Pro Tour series has grown in popularity over the last three years and always attracts a world class field of Long Drive's elite competitors. This year's first event of the season is no exception. Reigning ReMax World Long Drive Champion Carl Wolter, who came from obscurity to "shock the world" at the ReMax Championship last year, will be joined by four-time ReMax World Champion and Long Drive icon Jason Zuback, as well as other world and regional champions of the sport of professional Long Drive. AccuFLEX Golf's Elite Long Drive team members should be well represented in what many are calling Long Drive's "second major". In its third year, the International Long Drive Pro Tour has proven that it has the determination and ability to host a first-class competition with top-flight competitors at outstanding resort facilities. The "Extreme Challenge" will also get intense media coverage from Canadian and U.S. press. The media coverage is the most extensive of any Long Drive event held outside of the United States and will begin with Thursday's media day and continue with the Pro/Am on Friday, in which members of the press will play with the tournament's competitors. The "Extreme Challenge" will be filmed for broadcast on TSN which is the # 1 sports television in Canada. The International Long Drive Pro Tour will be held at the pristine Club de Golf Metropolitain in Anjou, Quebec and features one of professional Long Drive's largest purses.
