adidas Golf Introduces Two Women's Footwear Models Press Release
adidas Golf has introduced the AD 75 and Cushion Lite Slip-On, two footwear models whose colors are coordinated to match adidas Golf's spring and summer 2004 women's apparel line. Both the AD 75 and Cushion Lite Slip-On are built on a women's golf last--which delivers a better fit and greater comfort--and feature a TPU frame to house spike receptacles, as well as a TPU/EVA outsole. The combination of these elements results in a great-fitting, lightweight golf shoe that will keep a golfer's feet comfortable for an 18-hole round of golf and beyond.
Product Details
The AD 75, currently worn by Natalie Gulbis, Se Ri Pak and Juli Inkster, features a full-grain leather upper, breathable mesh lining, lightweight and cushioned EVA midsole, and 10 high-traction spikes. Available in three color combinations: white/black, white/cadet, and white/bone.
The Cushion Lite Slip-On is targeted at fashion-oriented consumers and includes a variety of performance features including a leather upper, breathable mesh lining, lightweight and cushioned EVA midsole and a 10-spike traction pattern. Available in three color combinations: white/salmon, white/graphite and black/iron.
"Because many women golfers prefer to match their footwear with their outfit, we took the color palette used for our women's clothing and applied it to our footwear," says Brett Joyce, Director of Footwear for adidas Golf. "By doing so we've taken the guesswork out of color-matching."
Both the AD 75 and Cushion Lite Slip-On carry a one-year waterproof warranty, and a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $85.
