MacGregor and Bobby Grace Putters announced last week the acquisition of Bobby Grace Putters by MacGregor Golf. The companies knew that the fit was good, but never conceived that the results would register so quickly. Bobby Grace's high moment of inertia (MOI) prototype, mallet putter captured a first and second place finish on the PGA Tour at last week's John Deere Classic, and added another PGA win yesterday at 84 Lumber Classic in Pennsylvania.

“We are very excited about the prototype MOI putter winning on the PGA Tour in successive weeks. Two wins and a second place finish in two weeks is a powerful endorsement," commented Barry Schneider, owner and CEO of MacGregor Golf.

The prototype putter design is a trapezoidal, tri-metal putter, milled of high grade aluminum creating a very high MOI. The extremely high MOI results in a putter that resists twisting and rolls the ball accurately. The first production of V-FOIL™ mallet putters will be available to consumers November 1st.

"I have been fortunate to design many successful putters during my career," says Bobby Grace.
