Wes Short and Chris Couch Use AccuFLEX "ICON Tour Prototype" and "ICON" Shafts To Finish in 7th and 8th Place At Challenging "Bayonet" Course in Seaside, CA

AccuFLEX Golf shafts earned two top tens over the weekend at the PGA Nationwide Tour’s "Monterey Peninsula Classic" in Seaside, California. Wes Short used the 90+ gram ICON Tour Prototype in his 3-wood while Chris Couch used the PGA and Nationwide Tour-winning ICON shafts in his driver and fairway metals. Couch retained his position at 15th place on the Nationwide Tour Official Money Leaders List while he used the ICON to climb into the top ten in the Nationwide’s Driving Distance category. The top twenty money leaders at the end of the year will earn exempt status on the 2004 PGA Tour. Couch’s chances have improved considerably since switching to the ICON back in June when he was in 157th place on the money list. Both Chris and Wes will appear at this weeks "Gila River Golf Classic" Nationwide Tour event in Chandler, AZ.
