MacGregor Golf racked up another PGA Tour win at the Chrysler Championship this past weekend, the fourth win in eight weeks for the V-FOIL MOI putter designed by Bobby Grace. During this incredible eight week stretch three different players have won PGA tournaments using V-FOIL MOI putters, and there have been two second place finishes in addition to the four PGA wins.
"We are thrilled with the spectacular success of the MOI putter on Tour," commented Barry Schneider, owner and CEO of MacGregor Golf. "The MOI design places weight deeper than any putter ever made, which translates to less twisting and straighter putts. Generating four PGA Tour wins and two second place finishes over an eight week period speaks volumes about the superior technology of our patented V-FOIL MOI putters. We are working around the clock to make them available to consumers in early November."
The V-FOIL MOI putter series will be available in four models, M5K, M6.4K, M7.5K-Belly Putter and M14K-Long Putter in both right and left handed options. Priced at $249.99 suggested retail, the M5K and M6.4K will be available in limited quantities starting early November 2003 at green grass pro shops and leading off-course retailers. The full line of MacGregor putters designed by Bobby Grace will be introduced at the 2004 PGA Show in January and available nationwide in early February 2004.
