Albany, GA – MacGregor Golf unveiled today at the PGA Show in Orlando a new series of premium blade-style putters. The new M-Series complements the mallet-style V-FOIL™ MOI Series that was introduced in October 2003 to round out the Company’s putter line. Both series of putters are by-products of MacGregor’s acquisition of Bobby Grace Putters and represent MacGregor’s first product offerings in the putter category since its highly successful Response putter.
“We are pleased to once again offer a complete tee-to-green line of innovative, easy-to-play equipment that enhances performance for passionate golfers of all skill levels,” commented Barry Schneider, owner and CEO of MacGregor Golf. “The performance, craftsmanship and quality of the M-Series is unmatched in the industry. These new putters are truly works of art and performance.”
Designed by Bobby Grace, the M-Series includes three models of traditional, heel-toe weighted blade designs: M1, M2 and M3. All models are one-piece 100% precision milled from solid, 303 stainless steel, offering golfers maximum feel and accuracy. The beryllium-copper face insert and variable weighting system gives these putters unmatched “tour-player” feel. M1 is available in both right and left-handed. M2 and M3 are only available in right-handed.
The M-Series will be available in February 2004 at green grass pro shops and leading off-course retailers with a suggested retail price of $239.99.
