LeisureWorks Receives Initial Order From Academy Sports

RIDGEFIELD, Conn., Feb. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- LeisureWorks, Inc. (OTC Pink Sheets: LEIW - News) announced today that the company has received its initial order from Academy Sports & Outdoors. As one of the nation's largest sporting goods retailers, Academy Sports & Outdoors operates over 72 stores in eight states. Their stores offer the sports and outdoors enthusiast a broad selection of equipment, apparel, and footwear.

LeisureWorks, which wholly owns EZ GRIP Products, Inc., a Florida based company that has proprietary technology that is used for do-it-yourself golf grip replacement. The grips are treated with a patented poly-chem shrink technology. This technology expands a conventional rubber grip by up to 20% of its normal size. The expanded grip is then placed easily onto a golf club shaft, and, once exposed to air, the grip will gradually shrink and within twenty-four hours will remain firmly in place on the shaft. This process eliminates the need for double-sided tapes or other adhesives to help secure the grip onto the shaft.
