A new invention that enables a person unskilled or physically handicapped to launch a golf ball over 300 yards with accuracy. Many of us watch TV golf matches on Sunday afternoon and fantasize what it would be like to hit a golf ball over 300 yards right down the middle of the fairway. A recent invention by Charles L. Wilson, Ph. D. could make your dreams come true. Dr. Wilson’s Robogolfer enables a person who is unskilled or physically handicapped to play golf and “hit” golf shots with tremendous accuracy and distance. Robogolfer looks much like a golf-club-bag pull cart with a barrel protruding from its base. It serves as a golf-ball pneumatic launcher that allows the player to precisely control the direction, loft, and distance of a golf shot. Robogolfer is capable of launching a golf ball over 300 yards with great accuracy. A U.S. Provisional Patent Application (60/481727) has been filed on Robogolfer and this invention is available for purchase.

Dr. Wilson developed the idea for the Robogolfer when he accidentally ran over a golf ball while mowing his yard, and inadvertently shot the ball fifty yards. “It was like Newton getting hit on the head by the apple,” Wilson says. He soon developed a prototype of a golf ball launcher using pneumatic technology. The launcher allows a player to perform all the necessary shots to get onto a green, where she or he may then use a conventional or adapted putter. Robogolfer opens up golf to many who are excluded because of their lack of skill or a physical disability.
