Satellite Golf Inc., Distributor for GPS Industries Signs Contract with Diamond Woods Golf Course in Oregon

Press Release

2004 PGA Merchandise Show - VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 5, 2004--GPS Industries Inc. (GPSI) (OTCBB:GPSN), (Germany: Berlin and Frankfurt WKN#: 252179), a leading developer and provider of global positioning (GPS) golf course, sports and community solutions announced that Satellite Golf Inc., an authorized GPSI distributor has signed an agreement with Diamond Woods Golf Course for the purchase and installation of GPSI's Inforemer GPS Golf Management System. Located in the heart of the Willamette Valley between Corvallis and Eugene in Oregon, Diamond Woods is installing the latest Inforemer GPS color handheld and cart mounted units, recently introduced at the 2004 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Florida.

"We are extremely pleased to welcome the Diamond Woods team to our family of courses, especially since they embrace GPS technology the way we do. It's great to see a golf course with such incredible value for its price make the commitment to incorporate the Inforemer as a part of their business model. This reiterates that GPS technology is great for any course, on any budget," said Brent Silzer, President of Satellite Golf.

The Diamond Woods management team decided to purchase Inforemer after visiting the GPSI exhibit at the 2004 PGA Trade Show in Orlando this past February. Jeff and Greg Doyle, Diamond Woods course owners felt it was important to offer their members a progressive GPS product that is versatile and future friendly -- their main reason for purchasing the Full Management System. This course will be one of the first in the Northwest to offer handheld color GPS units along with color cart mounted units and InforeZone Wi-Fi wireless internet services.

"We tried GPS technology offered by another company in 2000 and we learned that it is a great tool for improving pace of play. Satellite Golf/GPSI offers what we feel is the best GPS system in the industry. Inforemer has great features for golfers, plus an added value package for golf course managers. Handheld units for walkers, full color displays, exact yardages, drive calculator, tournament scoring, sports ticker, and Wi-Fi access will all add to the Diamond Woods golf experience," commented Jeff Doyle, owner of Diamond Woods Golf Course.
