Golf Galaxy Hosts First-of-Its-Kind Women's Golf Event; Golf for Women Magazine and Golf Galaxy Hope to Keep Female Golfers at the Top of Their Game

WHAT: Golf Galaxy, the interactive golf superstore offering Everything for the Game(TM), in partnership with Golf for Women magazine, will host a first-of-its-kind women's golf event designed to promote and advance the game of golf with the fastest growing segment of the golf market.

The event is free and open to the public. Activities will include: free PGA instruction clinics, swing analysis and club fittings; the latest in women's golf apparel; an extended selection of women's golf shoes available at discounted prices; featured products by Callaway Golf, TaylorMade/adidas, NIKE Golf, PING, and Greg Norman; wine tastings by Greg Norman Estates; the chance to register to win a number of valuable prizes--including golf lessons and shopping sprees; and membership drives by local chapters of the Executive Women's Golf Association. Guests will also receive a Golf for Women gift bag filled with select golf merchandise, beauty products and a copy of the magazine (while supplies last). Better still, 10 percent of all proceeds from the evening's events will go toward a women's charity.
