Cameron Park, California, 2004 - Karrier Communications, leaders in sports enhancing software, today announced the shipment of its IntelliGolf® version 7.0 golf scorecard software for Palm® handhelds and Microsoft® Windows Mobile-based Pocket PCs. Version 7.0 includes support for the satellite-based Global Positioning System (GPS), Bluetooth, WAAS/SBAS, more golf statistics, new putting screens, and sidegame enhancements. Palm handheld and Windows Mobile-based Pocket PC users will now be able to accurately view distances from tee-to-green using IntelliGolf's embedded IntelliGPS™ technology. Shot (e.g. Drive) distances will be automatically fed into the IntelliGolf shot tracking system saving users time on the course. IntelliGolf supports industry leading NMEA compliant Bluetooth (i.e. wireless) and serial connected GPS receivers with enhanced WAAS/SBAS accuracy.

Product Overview

With the IntelliGolf scoring software, users simply enter their scores, wagers, and shots into a Palm handheld or Windows Mobile-based Pocket PC instead of using a pencil and paper scorecard. IntelliGolf keeps a running total of their foursome's scores, tabulates all wagers, and synchronizes with the included Windows desktop software. Using the desktop software, golfers can view graphs and statistics on their shots, approximate their handicap, and output scorecards to the Internet.
