Albany, GA – MacGregor Golf announced today the introduction of the V-FOIL Go Long Driving Iron, the latest in a growing family of performance-enhancing V-FOIL products. The new Go Long Driving Iron delivers the power and high launch angle of a fairway wood with the control and accuracy of easy-to-hit forged irons.

Available in lofts of 16 and 19 degrees, the new V-FOIL Go Long Driving Iron offers golfers the shot distance of a fairway wood with the distance control of an iron. Concentrated mass and a very hot face combine for the increased distance of a fairway wood while the perimeter weighted V-FOIL cavity back delivers the balance, control and accuracy of a forged iron. The massive weight low and deep and high MOI provides an easy high launch even from difficult lies, and the curved, contoured sole reduces drag when hitting from the rough. Extended shaft lengths add to the already impressive distance properties of Go Long.
