Razor & Tie and Wiley Partner to Release the Perfect Gift for Father's Day 'Golf For Dummies(R)' DVD on June 8th

Press Release

NEW YORK, May 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Independent Entertainment Company Razor & Tie announced its partnership with Wiley, publisher of the best-selling For DummiesŪ books in March to release a series of instructional DVDs. The first DVD released by Razor & Tie with the For Dummies brand is Golf For Dummies, which will be available in stores and at www.videospace.com June 8, 2004, just in time for Father's Day.

The host of the Golf For Dummies DVD is Gary McCord, the author of the book, Golf For DummiesŪ and PGA Senior Tour Champion who is also known as one of the most entertaining personalities in the golf world. McCord is the CBS television golf analyst as well as an accomplished golf instructor to many celebrities.

The "Golf For Dummies" DVD highlights why Gary is so well regarded by colleagues and professionals alike. "Golf For Dummies" offers tips on how to build the perfect golf swing with Gary's step by step drills, starting with proper hand placement and mini swing drills, even a drill on how to keep the body still by putting the heels together. As usual, Gary delivers easy and positive instruction without the over-technical explanations. And of course, Gary's "ten timeless golf tips" -- everything from "take enough club", to "never blame yourself for a bad shot", to "bet only what you can afford to loose," are vintage Gary McCord.

Razor & Tie produced the DVD which was shot in Scottsdale, AZ, with creative input from Wiley. The video is consistent with other For Dummies products, satisfying the need for simple, easy to follow, instruction. These DVDs provide the necessary how-to's, not only helping with technique, but can also be applied to any skill level. Throughout the DVD, familiar icons can be seen pointing out jargon, alerts and myths of the game.

Razor & Tie will be releasing future DVD products with the For Dummies brand and will market the DVDs both through its innovative direct TV marketing division, as well as through traditional national retail distribution.
