Closeouts on Callaway Big Bertha Alpha drivers

Looks like Callaway has released their newest Big Bertha line and everyone is cutting prices on the old ones.  One retailer on Amazon has a few remaining Alpha drivers for anywhere from $209 to $249.   I think the ALpha, right handed, stiff graphite 10.5 degree was $209.  Not bad for a $500+ driver earlier this year.

Depends on model you want.

Interesting how much the price varies dependong on which model you want. The Right hand 10.5* is $250 in R flex but $400 in Stiff flex. Lowest price was for a Left hand model at $190. All of these drivers were $625.00 retail when they came out, so the prices are pretty good, especially if you want the one at the lowest prices. For me, the best way to go would be to get the R flex 10.5* driver and replace the shaft with a HIGH quality after market S flex shaft. Even with the cost of the new shaft I could get a S flex shaft driver at less money than the $400 they wnat for the factory S flex shaft model., and the shaft would be a LOT better quality in the bargain.

Putting is easy if you have the Right Putter.

Yeah ,that's sort of the

Yeah ,that's sort of the Amazon M-O...the specific price for the specific version you want can change.  But I agree, some of those prices are really good if that combination works for you - or you have what you need to make it work.  I probably should not invest in a new driver just yet....though that's never stopped me before.!   Ha!

I keep watching GlobalGolf for a used set of Wilson c11 or P11 irons.  I forget the exact labelling but I really enjoyed my last get of CI9's and would like to try the 11's if I can find a good deal on them .  Thus far, not many showing up in the used market...
