made it to the Ping demo at the range, a bit windy, so not the best conditions for judging ballflight. I hit G410 hybrid (5h), it has adjustable loft/lie angle, so the rep was able to flatten it a bit since it was a man’s std length. I hit it OK, it didn’t knock my socks off. That is to say, I am not sure I hit it better than my old Callaway one, would need to hit it during a round to confirm. The Ping Glide wedges were nice, the head is pretty small and they feel pretty heavy. I hit 60 and 50 degree. Hit a few with G410 5w, did not care for the look at address. Shallow face, I don’t like heads that look squished flat. Hit G410 driver, pretty solid, but not going to knock my driver out of the bag. In sum, if I had to buy new hybrids, I am sure I would be happy with the G410, but I am not sure they are compelling me to make the switch.

Well sounds like for now you're pretty set. No need to cough up the cash if you didn't see a great improvement.

I am thinking of using the "U Try" program from 3Balls, they have a couple of senior flex hybrids available. Playing with a club during a round is so much better for evaluation. Need to see how it performs off the turf and out of the rough.

Ok, so several options for trying clubs. Wonder them if 3balls and Global are "connected"? usually using the same names for promotions is a sign..

3Balls and Global are connected. I wrote 3Balls for the "U Try" by mistake. I think things trickle down from Global to 3Balls.
