The Jack Tone Golf Course is a family owned course that was designed by George Buzzini and built mainly by him and his sons. The course opened in December of 1996. Geogre's son Tim is in charge now but still hold to the high standerd that his father started the course with. I started playing there just after it opened so I have seen it go from a 9 hole course to an 18 hole. George has built the greens to the standard of a PGA course. The greens are hard, fast and small. The Jack Tone course is an executive course par 62. The slope is 88 and the rating is 58.8. There are mostly par 3s on the course but that does not take away from the challenge. They can be very difficult with small greens that are protected on all sides with sand. I like playing this course to work on my short game. The course is always kept in country club shape but at $18.00 per round that is only a dollar a hole it is a great bargain. They have a large putting area and a good pitching green with sand traps and rough areas to practice from. This is a course worth taking a look at it is fun and friendly and they will do everything they can to get you on.
