This is this the 2nd time that I have had the "honor" yes I said the honor, to play this exclusive country club. I have played al 3 nines and can tell yo that it is truly manicured. The fairways alone were the most manicured that I have ever played on. Ihave been playing golf almost 56 years and could not be more impressed. There wasn't even a weed. The ball sat up on every shot. When you drive up you are immediately impressed by the clubhouse. Old, all brick and stately. They take your clubs and park your car (no receipt). When through, they ask what kind of car, and, what colo. Drive it up and load your clubs and etc. You can have caddy or ride a cart with a forecaddy. The 27 holes are layed out in a way that you are enveloped in the history. Members were cordial every time you came in contact. The forecaddy's opening statement to me was "I will be your guide for the day" and, he truly was. The grill room was pleasant and drinks came in an oversized mug, even my vodka tonics. I would be happy to play this golf course the rest of my playing days. Nothing but "top-shelf" through the entire experience. I wish everyone could partake of this golfing mecca. By the way the locker rooms are on two levels and are not overly done. Just what you need to feel comfortable when you prepare fot your round. I am sorry that I don't remember individual holes but, I can assure you that you will continually look around the golf course in awe. It will be an experience that you will share with everyone when other course's are discussed. A truly exciting experience.
