golfpsu on 2009-10-23 wrote the following regarding Brookside Country Club:

I am a huge fan of Donald Ross designs, and Brookside is another gem in Ross' portfolio. Located north of Canton, OH, the golf course is set amongst the rolling hills, with tight fairways, thick rough, and tall mature old trees. The golf course is not a long course, but what it lacks in length is made up in fantastically manicured greens. Smooth fast greens are some of the most difficult I have been honored to play. Greens are guarded by signature large Donald Ross style bunkers. The practice facilities are nice. The drive range is large and has several targets. The practice greens mimic the speed and slope of the golf course. The lockers are huge and spacious even the women's locker room. I enjoyed my experience at Brookside and would be honored to play the course again.
