Details: bridgestone e6 330 dimple 3 piece ball

Purchase: I was looking to find a reasonably priced ball with some performance and went into Dick's Sporting Goods. They had a lot of balls on sale and I bought a dozen bridgestone e6s for $19.95
Pros: What I really liked about these balls is they felt nice off the clubhead and delivered a very nice ball flight. I could get them to check up real well on the green and they putted real soft. When hitting with wedges they did not mark. Pricing was very pleasant for the performance I felt I recieved.
Cons: Nothing
Quality: The Bridgestone e6 golf ball is a 3 piece ball with a soft seamless Surlyn® cover and a 330-dimple design. It has a nice feel on approach shots and holds the line well when puting. Very good quality.

Review Summary: This ball is advertised to minimize slight draws or fades. I have only played one round and it appears to perform as the company says it will. The cover feels soft but did not scuff from wedge shots. I really liked this ball.

Purchase: I bought these at Golf Galaxy for $20 as I was looking for a low compression golf ball for use this winter.
Pros: The ball was super soft of the club face, surprisingly so. It was competitively long off the tee so I wasn't giving up a lot of distance going from a premium ball like a ProV1 to this ball. It was reasonably straight but I was still able to work the ball slightly left and right when I wanted to. The ball held up well condition-wise showing no more than expected wear after 9 holes.
Cons:
Quality: Very well constructed, no blemishes before the round and no material defects were noted before or after.

Review Summary: I would recommend this ball to anyone interested in a low compression ball. It's soft, long and pretty straight. What more could you ask for? Spin. It's not a high spin ball, which is why it's $20 instead of $40+. But that's ok, I expected it, especially during winter conditions. Just hit the ball a little shorter and let it roll out to the hole.

Purchase: I purchased 18 balls from a logo over run box at Golf Galaxy. $1.49 each, so 18.00 a dozen. Even though I have a very decent game, like everybody else reading this review, I don't sign Autographs, so I have an unpredictable swing from day to day. I play a strong right to left ball flight one day and left to right the next... I Was playing the expensive usual suspects Pro-v, HX-Tour, Taylormade red..extc... And on my great days there was nothing better. The problem is that 7 out of 10 rounds wasnt the 'great day'. I was losing distance, shot placement, OH, and BALLS!!!!! I wanted a cheaper, and longer ball than Pro-v and the others, and didnt want to kill my short game..(my saving grace..100 yards in is where I save my Handicap...) Well good luck right...I tried the DT SOLO, the TOP FLITE D2 Feel, the NXT Tour, Callaway Hot, and afew others.. They all were great on distance but were terrible on feel, and control around the green... I ran upon a Logo Over run box of Bridgestone e6 balls so I gave them a try....
Pros: This ball is longer than all the others listed above except the Top Flite D2. The MAJOR difference is the control around the greens..Its not a Pro-v, HX tour, Taylormade, so dont expect that type of spin...BUT because it doesnt have that type of soft cover it doesnt wear as easily either. I got this ball to check up and sometimes to actually back up 2-3 feet.. Something NONE of the oters would do. It feels a bit hard off the putter, but acceptable for a distance ball, again 100% better than the others. The driver distance as I mentioned was the furthest except the D2, which I averaged maybe 1-3 yards further. I had an open course on a long par five at 7 pm, so I dumped 4 of each ball with white out over the name and pounded away..I kept a log of distance and the D2 was the furthest 3 of 4 balls, then all the e6's, then the DT solo and HX hot 2 of 4 each, and a few others like nike and such.. I usualy hit my drives about 270-285, and on the right day can tickle 300+...I loved the intial ball flight mid-high, It never balloned on me even with the Irons, or my utility clubs 17*, AND 21*... plastered the 3 wood with the D2, e6, and HX tour to the green and had the best results with the e6 in carry and roll off the deck..FYI didnt reach the 560 yd par 5 in 2...damn it...!!!!
Cons: Its feels a bit hard of the putter...But Im used to playing the Pro-v...So to be expected, but for the extra 9 yards average off the driver I'll suffer with it.
Quality: Soild construction, seamless design, bright white, and resiliant cover, played an entire round with the same ball and put it back in the bag...Good luck doing that with a Pro-v, Callaway extc...

Review Summary: I loved it, and bought 3 dozen after my little test.....3 dozen was equal to 1 dz. of Pro-v, Callaway, and such....

Purchase: Received sample sleeve from PGA Tour Partners Club as part of their product test program.
Pros: This ball feels great off of the club head, especially the driver. It almost seems to 'stick' to the face for about 1 nanosecond, then it kicks off and really flies. I sometimes have trouble getting good loft with other balls, and this one really lifts and carries well for me, with no ballooning. I am able to play this ball well from 100 yard in and it really sticks the greens. Putting the ball it great, as it doesn't have a hard click, but a nice soft feel off of the putter face. The little arrow is nice for aligning putts.
Cons: Haven't found anything not to like.
Quality: First rate quality, high gloss white finish, cleans well and doesn't seem to scuff easily.

Review Summary: I've been looking for a replacement for the Strata balls I had been playing, but Calaway (in their infinite wisdom) discontinued. I believe that I have found that ball in the e6. The fact that it is more affordable than the V1 is a plus as well.

Purchase: I bought a dozen balls for $24.95 but recieved $2 off with a coupon. I purchased this product becuase it claimed to reduce side spin and thus reduce my slice.
Pros: I felt the ball performed as advertized. I was able to keep the ball in play every shot. I had only a slight fade on my drives, and not one slice... The ball was also great around the greens. Landed very soft and rolled very true. The arrow printed on the ball was great for lining up the putts.
Cons: I have only played one round with this ball and at this time there is nothing that I dislike. For the price of these balls - so far they are perfect. The only negative thing about the product it at this time the name is not one you think of when you think of golf.
Quality: The ball held up great. No cuts, and no major scuff marks. The ball will definately hold up for several rounds. I didn't bounce any off a cart path, so we will have to wait and see what that does to the ball. I also like the seamless construction. It provided a very true roll on the greens.

Review Summary: Bottom line is I love this ball. I have played a lot of Titlest NXT, and Dt SoLo, Warbirds. I have played the pro v1 when I find them and over all I feel this is the best ball I have played!

Purchase: Got a sleeve from an online golf store with a club purchase. Paid $2.95 for 2 ball sleeve.
Pros: Distance was good. Landed very soft. It plays like a high-end distance ball.
Cons: Like most distance balls, it LEAPS off the putter. Found it hard to guage as a result. Also, it is very prone to ballooning with the driver. It didn't do it so badly with long irons or fairway woods, but it lost me distance on more than a couple drives, which was disappointing. I found no noticeable slice reduction, which it claims to do too.
Quality: Durability is a plus. It's bright white and clearly well-made.

Review Summary: I think it is a good ball if you're having trajectory issues, because it flies high. If that's the case, I believe it is a really good distance ball. If trajectory is not a problem, it might not be the ideal ball for you. It's a very good ball, well-made, good on distance, and durable. Just didn't fit my game, imperfect as it is.
