On 2006-04-10, Dorthy Mantooth rated this Nike SQ a 3...(6786)

Details: Nike Sasquatch Regular 460 10.5 stiff

Purchase: Went to Golfsmith on a Saturday night ready to buy a new driver, after hitting alomost every club on the floor, I had it narrowed down to the Nike SQ and the new Callaway X-460. I then decided on the Nike SQ because of the buzz about the club and I was stiking the ball a tiny bit better on the launch monitor.
Pros: You cant miss the sweet spot with the club, the toe the heel, every ball you hit is going to 'GO'...probably not all the strait though, but far! Although this was not the right club for me, I could see how somebody may think that this is the greatest invention since sliced bread (especialy if that person has a swing speed of 70-85).
Cons: This club is very hard to bring through correctly on the down swing and impact, even with a stiff shaft. If you have a high swing speed (95+) then you better have an extra stiff shaft. This club was impossible for me to adapt to, and I found myself trying everything in the book to fix the duck hooks and shanks, when it was really the club that was causing majority of the problems. One thing that I will strongly suggest is to shell out the extra money and get the tour version and have a premium quality shaft put on it, because that would have made a big difference for me. If you have a hign swing speed and you decide to buy this club, than you must get a premium shaft put on!
Quality: Cheap, feels cheap, looks cheap, the stock shafts are crap.

Review Summary: If your not willing to shell out the extra $150-200 dollars for the tour version and a good shaft, than your waisting your time.
