Purchase: I bought this because it is the #1 driver on tour. I was in need of a better driver. Bought it at rockbottomgolf.com with an upgraded graphite shaft for $199.
Pros: I like how solid this club is. Its hard to miss hit. You know that when you hit it anywhere on the club face its going to be solid. I love it.
Cons: At first I didn't like my degree I chose. I chose 10.5. I now love it because I always stay in the fairway because I'm not getting a huge roll. It is perfect for me. Before I would hit through a fairway. I am a long hitter.
Quality: It is a perfect club. I can't even imagine what the XD is like. Its the best club.

Review Summary: If you have any ability to play golf this will just improve your confidence. You won't be nervous at the tee you will want to be on the tee box.

Purchase: I purchased this online thru a Pro Shop and am replaceing a Taylor Made Bubble
Pros: When I hit it sweet it, I Gain 25 yards on my drive, But that is rare
Cons: It has a distinct anti slice and because of my strong grip I now have a "TERRIBLE" hook. I evn took a lesson. The 320 I bought and used the last month of golf season was worse and has ruined my swing. They sem to be weighted to hit hooks or anti slice. Demo it for more than 1 time and hit a few buckets each time.
Quality: Its a Quality club but it was difficult to find a demo in the shaft and loft I am use too.

Review Summary: I now have to spend a small fortune on correcting my swing. Even though I spoke to Taylor Made Last year and this year and used thier online fitting, It is not the club for me. I'm stuck now as I bought 3 new Taylor Made Drivers in 2 years. I lost a lot on trade in and sale of the used ones. I guess I brake out the lead tape and probably go back to my 10 yerar old driver.

Purchase: Won club on ebay after reading/hearing lots of great things about club. Went to large Golf Discount Store to get a feel for the club and loved it. Certainly worth $260
Pros: WOW!!!! Been using the club about a month now and it almost swings itself! Long and accurate with a halfway decent swing. Looks awesome and sets up really nicely. I don't particularly care for the sound...nothing like my old Ping TiSi, but I've gotten over that!!!
Cons: I don't particularly care for the sound... nothing like my old Ping TiSi, but I've gotten over that!!!
Quality: To me, the club is tops in R & D, as well as, quality and construction.

Review Summary: Bottom line...It has changed my game and helped lower my scores. Don't expect it to correct a 50 yard slice, but with a decent swing... you too can start enjoying the game more!

Purchase: I traded in my 18 month old Callaway Hawk Eye VFT ($150) for a new Taylor Made 540 ($399). I had a Regular shaft on the Callaway and sliced or faded almost everything. I got a Stiff shaft on the TM and everything goes straight. The shaft is heavier than my Callaway as well.
Pros: This driver is a good 20 yards longer than my Callaway and much, much straighter. With the Callaway, everything went right and there was no consistency. If you hit 20 balls with the TM540, you could throw a blanket over them. Even off center hits go long and straight.
Cons: Nothing. Best driver I ever owned.
Quality: Love the standard grip that came with the club. The club looks great and performs better.

Review Summary: I can't wait until I can replace my fairway woods with the TM580.

Purchase: £300, Golf Pro Shop Scotland UK
Pros: Very Forgiving , stiil goes long even when not hit correctly
Cons: This is the second 540 club I have had the first one suffered a Crack in the face , Taylor Made replaced FOC
Quality: Carbon Shaft R70 , 10.5 deg face

Review Summary: This club is the most forgiving golf club I have ever had in the 35 years I have been playing , OK its being banned in 2008 but what will be around then ??
