Details: Standard loft and lie fitted with True Temper Dynamic Gold shafts - regular flex

Purchase: Purchased an ex demo set for £190 (approx $365)from American Golf in Warrington (United Kingdom)
Pros: I came across these on the second hand shelf and tried them out of curiosity. I was immediately impressed by the look at address and the quality of strike. Despite being a 'players club' I found them to be more than adequately forgiving. They produced a strong flight and I was able to alter the trajectory very easily. The are almost 1 club longer than my Hogan FTX irons and in my opinion easier to hit. There is very little differnce in feel between the two as well. Feedback is very good. The short irons work very well when playing those delicate short shots near the green. My on course experience has been just as postitive having shot two successive rounds in the low 80s following a long slump when I was struggling to break 90.
Cons: I don't like the logoed button at the butt end of the grip. Its a purely visual thing, I don't like 'fripperies'.
Quality: First rate construction quality where it counts.

Review Summary: I can see me keeping these clubs for a very long time. I don't think my game with outgrow them. More forgiving than some reveiws give them credit for. I play off 17 and have no trouble hitting them

Purchase: I picked up my set of Pi5's from ebay - full set including Gap wedge and 2 brand new woods (Wilson Pd5 and Wilson FWC 3 wood) for about $600.
Pros: Coming back from a major layoff I think I tried just about everything on the market. Cost wasnt an issue with me - I stictly wanted the ones that would do the job. I settled on the Wilsons as I just loved the look of them and they felt super strong to hit. I think they are the easiest club to line up and get on track - they come back to square really well. I keep hearing that they are a great club if you have a handicap of less than 10, however I think these are really forgiving and they give such strong feedback that they will make you a better player. The other thing that I like is that they wont wear out as quickly as a forged club so I wont have to change clubs for ages.
Cons: Nothing - They really have answered all of the questions I have put to them.
Quality: Construction looks really good. They are going to last me ages (especially being stainless steel). I think the quality is exceptional especially in comparison to their competitors.

Review Summary: I really think these are a great iron. They give me the feedback that I need to improve my swing. When I do mishit the ball the trajectory is a little lower but the distance remains pretty much constant. I can work (fade or draw) the ball easily but the clubs wont allow a shocking slice or hook unless you have really stuffed up. Basically - I just love them.

Purchase: I purchased the Pi5's recently and got them for a 10% floor model discount. Right away I noticed about a twenty yard improvement in my iron play on all of them. Could be due to the de-lofting but I'll take it.
Pros: I am now able to hit 5-irons in the 200-215 range. The feel I get with a good shot is amazing. My shot pattern with the Pi5's is very consitent even on miss hits. Easy to work the ball as needed.
Cons: I wish more tour players would be on the staff since I believe that could be one reason they aren't more popular.
Quality: The look of a forged iron with the forgiveness of a cavity back is definetly a huge plus.

Review Summary: Overall, I would recommend these clubs to the golfer who may not have purchased new clubs of quite some time. The confidence I have now standing over the ball makes my game much improved.
