Purchase: I never appreciated my friend's collection of wedges until I bought some of my own. At a golf show in February 2003, I found a vendor selling a 53, 56 and 60 degree wedges for $55.00 for all 3! A deal no golfer should ever pass up.
Pros: I like that wedges are forged and have a chrome finish as opposed to some other wedges where they are allowed to rust.
Cons: No complaints, the wedges are working great.
Quality: The construction of the wedges is excellent. As mentioned earlier, forged head, tour step steel shafts, and an excellent grip which I found nearly doesn't spin even when wet.

Review Summary: I wonder how I've managed for so long without the added benefit of the approach and lob wedge. My short-game has improved from the use of these wedges and provide me with the ability to choose a club inside a 100 yards and still be able to make a full swing. That's difficult to accomplish with only a pitching wedge to rely on. I highly recommend to anyone to go out and fill in the bottom end of your set with either a lob or approach wedge and if you can afford it, get both!
