On 2006-12-25, I came around rated this AGT Fairway Driver a 4...(7563)
Details: My brother brought a AGT Fairway Driver to Thanksgiving dinner. He gave it to me for preparing dinner this year. It's a tradition to bring gifts to the cook. I scored this year!
Purchase: It was a gift. A gift that has my head spinning. I have ben playing Titist all my life. Reciently I purchased a R7 driver and 3 wood. When I got this Fairway Driver I was amazed at how good it felt. Off the tee the Fairway Driver was just as long as my new R7! At 17 degrees, that isn't supposed to happen! Off the grass I was just as long. I still am amazed. Last week my brother drove down. I hit the rest of his AGT woods. Unbelievable! The 3 wood is flat out amazing.
Pros: It works. It's very long. It's absolutly straight as an arrow.
I got to try the Nova 3 wood and was...still am, amazed at its performance.
If this is what boutique golf companies are all about, I am throughly impressed.
I am told AGT's are made in the USA.
Cons: It is evident the Fairway Driver has won a place in my bag, but if I add the Nova 3 wood I will need to replace my 5 so the clubs index together. I do not know how this will effect my iron play. I was also told the Nova 7 wood will eliminate my Sonartech rescue. If I make the change it will be costly. Time wise I would have to relearn my bag.
Let's NOT even talk about drivers!
Quality: Made in the USA says it all. Review Summary: It would be far easier to start out with clubs like these, then to work them into a already complete bag. But, if you want to play with the finest equipment available, don't mess with the big brand names. It's costly to gear up with average equipment only to discover the most advertised gear is probably the worst gear.

Details: The club looks very professional. No frills, but not understaded by any means.
Well thought out. 17 degree.
Purchase: I paid $339. with a AJ 335 stiff. Head cover included.
Pros: Off the deck/off the tee; this flat smokes the ball. Feel is as stated, soft but not mushy. Sound is good.
The real selling point should be how straight the ball goes. You have to be pretty lame to hit the ball off line with this club.
It's all good.
Cons: I did have difficulty figuring where and how to play this club.
Quality: As I said earlier, no issues here. Proudly made in the USA says it all. Review Summary: Do'nt be afraid to give this club a try. They have a performance guarentee.
