Purchase: Paid approx. $150 from Gigagolf for a full set including wedges. After much research I decided to give clone clubs a try. I had been playing a "Dept. store starter set" for a while, and after deciding I did like this game, I wanted to make a move up in equipment. The Acers were the perfect move since it is a quality product at a cheap price. They filled the gap until I was ready to put some real money into a name brand club set.
Pros: Very nice set of clubs, for a great price. The clubs hit very well and were forgiving enough for me. I shoot in the 90s. Distance and control were good. Standard crossline grips were fine.
Cons: None. I did try an Acer driver from Gigagolf and I did not like that at all. The irons were fine though. Custom fitting is nice if necessary; however I play standard length and lie.
Quality: Very good. I was unsure of clone clubs, but I played these for a one good season and they held up fine; no problems.

Review Summary: I would recommend these clubs to anyone looking for a good set at a great price. I recently moved up to a set of Cleveland TA6 irons (time to spend the money and go with a name brand) which I like well. But I would have stayed with the Acers longer had I not found a great deal on the Clevelands. I'm a believer in clone clubs; perfect for those starting out or moving up from a cheap starter set like I did.

Purchase: Paid $190 for custom Acer XP irons (3-PW) with True Temper TT Lite XL steel shafts and Lamkin Crossline grips from Gigagolf. I picked this particular product because it was a clone of Callaway X-16 at a much cheaper price.
Pros: These clubs are very nice to hit with. Good solid feel. They even look nice. I've had no problems hitting with these clubs. Also, price was great.
Cons: I have no complaints at all. Very happy with these irons.
Quality: Construction and quality were done very well by the Gigagolf staff. Everything was done to my specifications.

Review Summary: At first I didn't know what to expect from a clone club. I went to a local clubmaker and tried nearly all name-brand irons and found that I was most comfortable with the Callway X-16 irons, however the cost of the X-16 was to much for me. I did a little research and decided to try the Acer XP clubs, since they were a clone of the X-16. Now after having used the XP, I can definitely say I made the right decision.
