Acuity XRC Golf Irons - Reviews

Details: This set includes Dr, 3w, 5w, 3/4hyb, 5-9i, 48pw, 56sw and a putter.

Purchase: I bought this set at Dicks Sporting Goods due my limited budget. I paid $249.00. As soon as I had seen the set displayed in the store I liked it. It is a very attractive set of clubs.
Pros: The set seems to be of very good quality. My Dad uses High dollar clubs and when he hit my irons he was suprised at the feel they offered off the ball. He really thought the wedges were nice for the money as well.
Cons: I dont hit the FW woods very well, but that is probably my inability not the clubs. I did break the putter. I was using it on one hole, it was fine and I pulled it out of the bag on the next hole and it was cracked around the hossle, it didnt last long after that. Dicks is going to replace it.
Quality: With exception to the putter incident I feel I got a pretty good deal overall. I hope to not have anymore clubs fail during play, as they do appear to be constructed with a reasonable degree of quality for the price.

Review Summary: Definately a very good starter set that will not impede progress of learning the game (thats what my Dad said anyway) the correct way. A great overall package for a tight budget.
