Purchase: Golfsmith for about $190.00 (Aldila one shaft installed)
Pros: Once I got use to this driver, I found it very easy to hit. It delivers great distance for steel. I tipically hit it about 230 carry with 15-20 yards roll. With some practice, I learned how to hit the ball more accurate off the tee, but I must say that this club speaded up the process. 23 handicap down to 16
Cons: It took a little while to get use to. From what I'm guessing, the sweet spot is rather small(I rarely get the bang noise). However, if you make solid contact without coming over the top, etc. it is pretty forgiving.
Quality: It came with a graffaloy Adams shaft, but I had an Aldila One shaft put in. The quality of this club is outstanding!! After 6 months it's still holdin up without a scratch and I often take a divot that flies farther than my ball-even with a tee!

Review Summary: After I learned to get my swing more on path, this club became a weapon off the tee. I can draw and fade this club and it hits more accurate than my 3 wood. My advice if you are having trouble hitting a driver, don't return it. You should consider practicing with it or seeing a pro to check your swing- unless your a low handicapper. After I took time with the GT, I gained 25 yards both farther down the fairway and closer to the center.

Purchase: I purchased it at Golfsmith during a sale for about $130.00
Pros: This club, for about 200 dollars less literally, for me, only provided a 6 yard loss in driving distance (when hit in the sweet spot) compared to a Titleist 975-J and a Taylormade R580. Perhaps, you loose accuracy or whatever, but this club is very workable if you want to hit a long drive. As it is steel, it makes a down right scary noise at impact. I can hit the ball 250 plus with out too much problem and I'm a higher handicap-19.
Cons: It seems like it is made for better golfers because of its noticably smaller sweet spot. You only get that scary sound if you hit it right on target. It is less forgiving than most drivers over 200 dollars. What do you expect though?
Quality: Great quality. It came with an Adams Graffaloy shaft. Good, standard grip.

Review Summary: If you are not willing to shell out the big bucks, then buy this club. You can't get much of a better deal unless you go with custom construction. Compared to the best drivers, this club would probably benifit you just as much. You don't need the best gear. You need to perfect your own swing.
