Purchase: Rockbottom Golf.com (ebay) $200
Pros: Very forgiving and long.
Cons: The high pitched sound at impact, but who cares when you hit them long and in the short grass.
Quality: Excellent, looks great at address. Does not seem as big as it is at address.

Review Summary: I have been using my 3 wood (Orlimar) off the tee for the past 2 years. I just didn't have any confidence in my driver. This season I decided to try some new drivers. It came down to the Redline and the King Cobra 427cc model. I hit them both and they were fairly equal in performance, but I liked the way the Adams looked at address. That may seem trivial but it's all about confidence before you swing the club. I am now consistently hitting my drives 240-260 (with an occ 280), and usually in the short stuff. This club responds quite well to a smooth swing. Whenever I try to overswing I get mixed results, but I shouldn't be overswinging anyway. The only negative is the loud, high pitched sound at impact. It takes a little getting used to, but the results are very easy to get used to. If you are looking for a new driver, give this a shot. Note: I shoot in the high 80's so I don't try to work my drives, just want them straight and far. Don't know how well this club shapes shots, never tried.
