Purchase: Paid $130.00 for this driver + $13.99 for shipping on EBAY (Rockbottomgolf auctions), usually it sells on Edwin Watts catalog for $399.00 + shipping!
Pros: I like the technology it brings to the game: composite top for extra forgiveness, weights can be moved to alterate ball flight plus an excellent shaft(Aldila NVS). This driver suits all styles of players once you get the correct shaft and flex, I believe it's a better and cheaper alternative to Taylor-Made's R7 once you do that.
Cons: Grip could be a lot better, it comes with a cheesy Golf Pride Velvet Tour grip that doesn't make justice to the rest of the club.
Quality: Flawless, excellent finish.

Review Summary: Excellent club, even better for the price! Got used to cheap drivers and paid the price for it, now I hit them 10-20yds longer and straight as an arrow. Since my first day with this beauty I've been hitting lots of fairways on tight courses, no bad misses yet - I'm expect to lower my handicap with this club for sure!

Purchase: I boughtn this club on eBay from a golf retailer in the Carolina's. I paid $302 brand spanking new, plus $11 shipping. Over $100 cheaper than the retail price - when it becomes available.
Pros: The RPM 430Q has four movable weights similar to the Taylor Made r7 quad. That is the only similarity in my eyes. Having played the r7 quad a few times, I will speak from experience. The 430Q is a bit larger than the r7 but does not look like it from address. the composite top blends nicely with the face of the club which is full and easy to square up. The 430Q hit with amazing "pop". The sound is unique, not like typical titanium face clubs, very solid sound. The wieghts are easy to move around with the use of the special wrench, included with the 430Q. There is also a small, easy to understand, diagram booklet on where to position the weights for the desired ball flight.
Cons: Stock Adams (Fujikura) shaft is a little whippy. I will probably re-sfaft with something else in the future.
Quality: Everything on the club is seamless. The transistion from the composite top to the titanium face looks smooth and without any joints.

Review Summary: This club will absolutley take what the r7 brought to the market and expand on it. Probably won't have the impact on the Tour that the r7 has but the general publiic can benefit from the technology - everyone from single digit handicaps to mid-mid high handicaps. I play to a 9 HC index and am thoroughly happy with the 430Q.
