Details: steel shaft, regular flex
Purchase: I paid $220 at Rockbottomgolf.com, including shipping. I've always liked Adams products but never owned Adams irons. I've had Adams drivers and fairway woods and they're quality clubs so when I saw the A1 irons at that price I couldn't pass them up.
Pros: My first set of irons when I started playing I bought online and they were semi fitted to me. They were shorter than standard and had higher lofts because I wanted to be sure I got the ball in the air. As it turned out I have a naturally high ball flight so I began to covet some irons that would get me the distance other golfers I played with were getting. I've never been a big hitter so the A1's are giving me an additional amount of yardage on my shots. The shorter irons (8, 9, Pw) are about the same distance as my older set but the 7,6, and 5 iron give me an extra ten to twenty yds. I love the hybris, they're staight and inspire confidence on the tight par fours and from the fairway on par fives. I love them in almost any situation. Long par three's are made for these clubs. I'm still figuring out what yardage I'm getting on these clubs so I'm not zeroed on my shots yet but that will come with more play. I'd recomend them for the average player. These are also nice looking clubs from a manufacturer who has not been known for pretty clubs.
Cons: I've gotten some ball marks on them that don't want to come off. Any suggestions?
Quality: What can I say, the quality is as good as anything you'll buy from Taylor Made, Calloway, Cobra and at a fraction of the price. Adams doesn't pay the PGA to play their clubs and wear their products so they can keep the price down and offer the savings to the customers. Adams charges less for new clubs than the others charge for clubs that are 4 or 5 years older.
Review Summary: Adams offers clubs and quality at a price that will still allow your children to go to college. Thanks Barney and good luck in the future.

Purchase: Bought these clubs at Golf USA when i began to become serious about golf. I got them on sale for $429.
Pros: I really like how forgiving these are even when you put a bad swing on the ball. If you do put a bad swing on it. I also like that if you do put a bad swing on the ball, will know when you make contact and you wont have as good of ball flight.
Cons: I dont really have any dislikes. I'd like to have more of a muscle-back/blade, but im not good enough to play them (yet)
Quality: So far there have been no problems
Review Summary: Great Irons for the mid to high handicapper
