Purchase: Golfer's Warehouse in Hartford had these used at the end of the winter at a deep discount - $48! Pros: Better weighing and launch than my Dunlops, which were only a half-set. Only needed 3-PW, as I have a sand and lob that I've dialed in. I have been trying out friends hybrids and even have a shortened Tight Lies VMI instead of a long iron. Took these out to the range and to my great surprise - I can hit a 3 iron! After a bucket of balls I could swear I was hitting my old 5 iron rather than cringing over the old 3. Cons: The polished finish shows more wear sooner than my dull-finish Dunlops. Quality: Heavily undercut and perimeter weighted, the graphite really lets you feel the club head - great feeedback. Review Summary: Best $50 I ever spent on golf. I was simply hoping to get a reliable full set, and got a lot more.

Details: Standard lie, length and loft. I have midflex true temper steel shafts.
Purchase: Bought this set for $200.00 at sports authority last year. The set was 3-pw with a sand and lob wedge. I love the clubs and have really learned how to work them but I do struggle somewhat with the long irons getting the ball up enough. I would recommend these clubs to anyone looking to improve their game and want a steel shaft. Pros: I had a graphite set prior to this one and felt I really hit the ball well but now needed more accuracy than distance. I went to sports authority and tried these clubs out in the cage along with the TM RAC OS2, I walked out with these mainly because of the price tag. Cons: Great set but I want to really regrip these clubs. I'm not the type that wants to wear a glove but feel I need to because of how much that rough up the hands and tear thru gloves. Quality: Great construction on these clubs. Just need different grips. Review Summary: I definately say these club are a great upgrade, especially from graphite for better accuracy. These clubs are heavier than the TM's but I feel that it helped with swing speed. Definately try these out if you find them. On 2006-07-16, CF rated this Adams GT2 Undercut a 4...(7260)
Details: 3-PW, standard length, steel shaft, stiff flex, standard grips
Purchase: Bought at rockbottomgolf.com as a set for about $170 shipping. Pros: I like them because they are very easy to hit for a beginner and very cheap for the quality if you ask me. Cons: Haven't found much I don't like except for my swing, I've been playing for less than a year and I can still hit the 3 iron out of this set pretty darn well considering how flawed my swing is. Quality: They were brand new and looked very nice when I got them. I'm no golf club expert but I have been happy with the quality and the apperance is fine for me. Review Summary: Very good beginner irons IMO. For the price I doubt they can be beat, although like I said other than some old spaldings I found on the porch of our rental property these are the only clubs I've really ever hit, better than the spaldings by a ton. two thumbs up for adams making golf an affordable sport. Purchase: Bought from Golf Discount.Com for $300 total. I've had various Adams clubs in the past and these looked like good sticks to me. Pros: They come as a set of 11 clubs: 3 thru loft wedge. They hit the ball as high and straight as you could ask for, you can work them a bit but unless you have to steer the ball around a tree just aim at the flag and pull the trigger. Distance seems normal, I hit most 5 irons I've tried about 180 on the fly and these do that too. I did replace the 3 and 4 irons with Adams hybrids (great clubs). The GT2's look great and it doesn't seem to matter where you hit them on the face, as long as you avoid the shank, the ball flight will look good. They feel good too, a soft ball gives a nice click sound. Cons: No complaints other than the grips are too small for my manly hands... easily fixed, I service my own grips. Quality: The clubs are first rate. They are a simple design with everything you need and nothing you don't. Review Summary: Great bargain in a quality club. There is a 10 degree gap from the 45* pitching wedge to the 55* sand wedge, so I added a Mizuno 51* wedge to fill in. Nice wedge. I did cut all the clubs (except wedges) down 1/2 inch. Now they are the same lenth as the GT2 steel shafted clubs. I don't need the extra yards that the longer graphite shafts provide, so I went for accuracy instead. Works for me.
