Purchase: Paid $299 on E-bay...the clubs looked great on arrival.
Pros: Irons 6 and below have always been my downfall, so when I decided after years of playing with hand me downs and Kmarts I did a little research and decided on the Ideas. I've played the first round of the season with them and cant wait to get back out. The 3 and 4 I-woods are very easy to hit. Each club just feels great. My shots are high and Ive recovered the 15 yards per club that have been missing the last few years. Its hard to believe how straight every shot is. Being a player that rarely hits a green it was downright scary to watch my ball hit the green in regulation 6 times in 9 holes.
Cons: Yeah right everyone hates to hit the ball where they aim it......no dislikes at all
Quality: Clubs feel very balanced. Look great.

Review Summary: If you are a high handicapper like me I'm not sure you could buy a better club. I am ecstatic.

Purchase: I found the Ideas on Ebay and bought them based on their forgiveness. The price was around $225.
Pros: Likes: Large head - some irons heads are small and thin which make me swing harder and faster. The Ideas on the other hand present an oversize head which me the confidence to "swing within myself". Forgiveness - their large sole enables the Ideas to perform as advertised. Off center shots are not that far off. This is the best of the forgiveness clubs I've used. Distance - about a club longer than my previous irons. However most manufacturers are making their newer irons with stronger lofts. For example a 5 iron PING Eye 2+ has a 28* loft. The Idea is 25*. Also the shot distance between, say a 5 and 6 iron is the same as between a 8 and 9 or a 9 and PW (for me about 7 to 10 yards). Control - easy club to swing. Weight is perfect, not too heavy or too light. Feedback - shots hit in the sweet spot telegraph and reinforce your swing tempo. Hitting off-center tells you where and why the shot was struck.
Cons: The 3 and 4 "irons" are hybrid clubs, basically part wood-part iron. Distance is much shorter than the equivalent wood. They are hard to control and off-center hits are really bad. Perhaps the newer models, A1 and A1 Pro have corrected that flaw.
Quality: These clubs have been crafted with a high degree of attention to detail. It would seem that quality control is "Job 1" at Adams.

Review Summary: In the past few years I've used the Callaway Big Bertha, Armour 845 OS, PING Eye 2 and 2+ and even the newer TayloMade Rac OS. The Ideas are just the right club for me. In the 8 months I've played them my Handicap Index has gone from near 20 to 16. Three days ago I shot my best round so you can imagine my degree of confidence in these irons. Give them a few "test drives". These might be the irons you've been seeking.

Purchase: I paid $310 on Ebay
Pros: The 3 and 4 iron makes these irons worth the price. They are very easy to hit. I've always had trouble with the longer irons but these are as easy to hit as fairway woods. These clubs are longer than what I am used to hitting. If you like the irons you are playing with now, but have trouble with the longer irons, consider buying just the 3 and 4 irons.
Cons: The grips could be more "grippy". I just wish they made a 2 iron!
Quality: These are very well constructed and very high quality. They compare to much more expensive irons.

Review Summary: These clubs are very forgiving, look good, and are very long. I expect that the other club makers will start producing hybrids soon because it is a great idea.

Purchase: Golfclub4less $455
Pros: Good quality, easy to hit
Cons: They're great!
Quality: Excellent

Review Summary: I get a kick out of hearing reviews from people about how these irons don't allow them to shape their shots. 90 percent of the reviewers couldn't shape a shot with any brand. I'm a 5 handicapper and know how hard it is to "shape" shots. These irons are a fresh idea that will make thousands of golfers enjoy the game more. They are excellent quality and are simply easier to hit.

Purchase: I bought these on E-Bay for $300
Pros: These clubs are Great! The 3 and 4 hybrid irons alone make this set worth the price. I have only used them three times and have cut 5-6 strokes off already. Very easy to hit the club does all the work.
Cons: The grips aren't the best
Quality: Wonderfully constructed club

Review Summary: I am about a 20 handicapper. Not for long!!

Purchase: Puchased from Ebay, Paid $349.00
Pros: As a relatively new golfer, I decided I needed a forgiving set of irons, designed from the ground up for the high-handicapper. So I went to my local golf store and took a gander at a few sets, and then I saw the Adams Idea irons, I could not stop thinking to myself, what a great "Idea". The demo-ed the I-Woods on the stores indoor range and was very impressed with the ease that I could hit the clubs. These are very forgiving clubs. However, I was in a hurry so I did not purchase the clubs that day. List price was $499.00 with graphite shafts. I decided to look on ebay and found them for $349.00. I had originally budgeted $800.00 for my iron purchase, but why spend what you dont have to! I know you are probrably thinking, what kind of quality clubs can you get for $349.00, so I challenge you to just hit your local golf shop and swing one of these irons. Preferably the 3 or 4 I-Wood. You will become a believer!! CUSTOMER SERVICE!! When I recieved my irons, the 3 and 4 I-woods did not have the advertized head covers, so I called Adams golf to see about purchasing them, they just took my name and address and sent them to me for FREE!!!!
Cons: These clubs seem to hit further than standard clubs, so I have had to "relearn" club selection. Also there seems to be a big difference in distance between the 4 I-Wood and the cavity back 5-iron. Not really too big of an issue
Quality: Great quality, irons have a great finish to them. These clubs turn heads... Every round I play someone asks about the I-wood's. I just hand them the club and have them hit a ball.

Review Summary: If you do one thing this week...TRY THESE CLUBS!!!

Purchase: Purchased at Pro-Golf Discount in Bellevue, WA at the recomendation of the sales staff. Price paid $475.00 After reading reviews of various brands within my price range I went in planning to choose between Adams Performance GT's, Tommy Armour 845's, or Topflite 2000XL's. After hitting a few balls with each the salesman suggested that I try the Idea's. I was so impressed that I made the decision to revise the price I had intended to spend in order to move up to the Idea's.
Pros: The weakest part of my game has always been the long irons. Almost from the first swing I was able to hit the Adams i-woods (3 and 4) long and straight. My perennial slice with my old 3 iron is a thing of the past. Also, mis-hits with the full range of clubs seem to wander less and provide less sting.
Cons: I have read other reviews where the user liked the factory installed grips but they were not to my taste. I have very long fingers and had my dealer install a thicker set - as far as I am concerned this is now a perfect set of clubs for my game.
Quality: Appearance was the least of my concerns when looking at new clubs but I am very impressed with the look and finish of this set.

Review Summary: Since the Idea line is designed as a game improvement set I don't know if they would appeal to the low handicapper but as a set for the beginner to moderate golfer I don't see how one could do any better.
