Purchase: I paid $499.00 for this set at Mammoth Golf in Maryland. I started playing golf last year woth a beginner set of Affinity golf clubs. i took several lessond from a pro Ike Ivernazi and now, Linda Oakman. As I was begiining to play better, I realized I needed to upgrade my equipment to a more forgiving and more updated clubs.
Pros: First of all, it is a good upgrade from my beginner's set. It comes at an affordable price as I only play golf on the weekends. It gives me more confidence now to hit balls in the rough with the accompanying 4 & 5 hybrids. I now hit the ball straighter and off the ground with my new hybrids. The irons feel better when I hit the ball-I can feel that good, solid impact. I know instantly that I made a good swing. Becasue of this new confidence, I am more enthusiastic about playing not only with women but with men too...as I see myself improving.
Cons: I liked everything about it and am recommending it to my friends.
Quality: The cavities in the heads are definitely a plus to the impact it has on the balls...the thicker base of the irons also add mroe weight to the clubds which I feel when I swing. My swing is more straight now b/c of that aded touch. My hybrids are definitely worth the price I paid. I hit more balls now into the fairways longer and more precisely. The heads are very solidly built and accurate to the very loft they have. The shaft is graphite and very light.

Review Summary: To upgrade from a beginner'set to Adams Idea irons...is the best decision I made. It helped my game. I am sure that as I advance into the game, I will progress into a better golfer. It is a good transition club at an affordable price.
