Purchase: I paid 141.00(including shipping) on EBAY from Dallas Golf. I got a heck of a deal. I was sent the Idea Pro at first. I sent them back for the Ideas with the 3 & 4 hybrids. Can you believe 125.00 for a set of 400.00 irons.
Pros: I really like the look and feel of these irons. They hit the ball straight as lazers. They are very good out of the rough. The first time I hit out of the rough, I aimed a little right and I hit it straight right. They were easy to hit out of tough lies. The only time I missed a shot was in the fairway off a tight lie, that might not been the irons fault. I htink I am going to like these irons. I will have to play a few more times to get a good feel. I played with PIng Zings for a long time. They are some of the best irons of all time. If the Adams don't perform, they will be back in the box. I know they will perform. They are fun to look at also. I really liked the 3Iwood.I hit it 3 times with the results I wanted, about 210. I even had a nice feather fade on one shot. I did not hit the I4 very well. I hit it bad , but got a lot more out of it than I deserved.
Cons: The clubs are a little light for me. My Zings were heavy, so htis may take some getting used to. I also need to make sure I have the right shafts in these clubs. (dynamic gold light-stiff). The grips will have to be changed, but thats not a big deal.
Quality: Very nice quality and construction. I cant find anything bad about looks and quality

Review Summary: The bottom line is these seem to be good irons. I am a low handicapper and I dont care about having tons of feel. I care about hitting good shots that go where I want them to go. The first time I played them, I was able to hit the shots I needed. These players who talk about needing to get feedback on every shot or needing to shape shots need to worry more about learning to hit shots straight and then work on thier putting. In conclusion, The Adams Idea are good solid clubs that will improve any players game regardless of handicap. If you are in the market for new irons, you owe to yourself to try these irons.
