On 2004-05-24, zuppss rated this Adams Tight Lies Tour Irons a 4...(3678)

Purchase: E-Bay. Paid $142.00 for 3-PW with stiff steel shafts, new in the box.
Pros: Traditional looking heads with minimal offset that set-up nicely at address. Execellent feedback from well struck shots and mishits. Workability is good. Lofts aren't hyped and distances are about 1/2 to one club less. So, remember to take more club.
Cons: Heads are disigned for better players with more mass toward the heel. Toe misses hold the line pretty well but with a distance loss of, say, 1/2 club.
Quality: First class all the way.

Review Summary: These are clubs for better players, not high-handicappers. They have been discontinued but are available at many shops at very reasonable prices. They are moderately forgiving, worakble and the quality is top-notch. If you are in the market for a playable set of traditionally lofted irons, take a look.
