Purchase: EBay Australia New US$270. Had to replace my old pro-simmons with a decent set of irons. Read reviews and for the money, the Adams Tight Lies seemed the way to go.
Pros: Looks great. Can take hard swings. Easy to get the ball air borne. Grips are fantastic. Address feels good. Ball stops quick on landing. Favourite irons from the set are 5,7,8 & P.
Cons: Distance is a bit disappointing, expected better. Old irons went further (shafts were a fraction longer). Am using half / one club more and now OK...not coming up short as often.
Quality: Perfect build quality.

Review Summary: Very good value at US$260 but would not pay full receommended price. they feel good and go good but be prepared to swallow your pride and take a bit more club. Adams Tight Lies irons combined with a Nike Spin ball gets even 3 & 4 irons to stop quick. The balls do get up quick from the face of the club. The tour version that I have are a classic looking iron.
